Disabilities and Conditions
As a person with a disability Austin knows that the world is not always designed for you. His goal is to create an accessible environment and get to know your body and its needs before he starts to work with you. Let him know if you require any type of accommodation when you book your appointment. He has worked on persons with cereberal palsy, ehlers danlos syndrome/hypermobility spectrum disorder, amputees, and persons in wheelchairs.
-
Scars
Austin uses multiple techniques to help break loose scar tissue. His work has made him a trusted support for persons who have undergone top surgery, mastectomies, c-sections, and other surgeries. He believes that post-operative care goes beyond physical therapy, and extends into bodywork that help people move well again without pain.
-
Youth
Yes, Austin will do work on persons ages 12-18 with the consent and presence of a parent or guardian. From competitive gymnasts to high school hockey players, he helps younger people maintain their bodies so they can perform, and does work that respects and compliments their physical growth and development. For inquiries regarding children under 12 please reach out to Austin directly.
-
All sizes
Austin works on all body types regardless of height, weight, or musculature. You do not need to be at any specific BMI, shape, or size to get the benefits of massage. He has worked on strongmen, ballet dancers, persons who are short stature, and persons recovering from eating disorders. Please don’t let societal or personal beauty standards get in the way of feeling your best.
